JUNE 2-3 JULY 28-29 SILENT AUCTION
We lost Nicole on March 22, 2005 just two days after her 16th birthday. It has been tough to deal with her loss at such a young age. My family started a memorial fund in her name that will both give out scholarships to graduating Centreville seniors and support theYellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention and Awareness Program. Through your support and generosity, we are turning this tragedy into a way to support and help others. We have given $8,000 in college scholarships so far in her name.
NICOLE MCCARTY 3rd Annual MEMORIAL FUND TENNIS TOURNAMENT
We are holding a tennis tournament in Ashburn Farm, Virginia JUNE 2-3 to benefit the Nicole McCarty Memorial Fund. There will be a silent auction for anyone to participate in and prizes for the tournament winners. Come out, play some tennis and raise some money for the memorial fund. The SILENT AUCTION and TENNIS TOURNAMENT
Through a great deal of generosity from the Companies that donated the items and people that placed the bids this auction was a big big success. This year we had a total of 43 items in the Auction. I hope everyone had fun bidding on their item/items of choice. Hopefully (with the help of my Sister) in the MAY to JULY timeframe next year we can have another AUCTION / TENNIS TOURNAMENT.
I would like to give a special THANKS to all for the Contestants and the Verizon Employees that endured the heat to participate in this years Tennis Tournament. I hope to see you out there next year.
